Music From Ireland is a cross industry & arts collective which was formed in 2005. The primary goal of the collective is to present a 'united front' by the Irish Music Industry at the major music conferences around the world. Irish music & artists have been at the forefront of music creativity with artists as diverse as U2, Van Morrison, Sinéad O' Connor, Clannad, Roty Gallagher, Westlife, The Cranberries, Paul Brady & Thin Lizzy having a major impact on music makers and fans alike around the globe over the years. A whole new breed of emerging Irish acts are currently leading the way for a whole new generation of music lovers. Breakthrough artists such as Damien Rice, The Thrills, Snow Patrol, Gemma Hayes, The Frames & BellX1 have firmly put the spotlight on Ireland once again as the source of some of the best International newcomers.
