THE LOST BROTHERS
The Lost Brothers are Oisin Leech and Mark McCausland. Originating from Dublin and Omagh respectively, both band members are already well known in their Liverpool base for their previous musical exploits in The 747s (Ark Recordings) and The Basement (Deltasonic Records). Working together under the moniker of The Lost Brothers, the duo have been working their way around the UK for the past year, gathering acclaim wherever they go for their unique blend of acoustic guitars and folkish harmonies.
In November 2007 the pair flew to Portland, Oregon to record their debut album with producer Mike Coykendall (M Ward, Bright Eyes, Beth Orton) and a flurry of local musicians. Within a month the duo had a brilliant album under their belts, and returned to the UK bleary-eyed but eager to showcase their wares, which they did immediately at the Deltasonic Records Christmas Party at the Liverpool Carling Academy! In January Mark and Oisin went on to perform a live set for Dave Monks' show The Pool on BBC Radio Merseyside.Spring 2008 will see The Lost Brothers continue to gig across the UK, in support of their debut album soon to be released on Creepy Records.
