Elena Duff
Elena Duff is an Irish visual artist and producer who works under the name Vesperella for her electronic compositions. Her practice moves between electronic music and visual art. The inclusion of sound is an integral part of recent works, providing texture and atmosphere for a more immersive experience.
Originally an acoustic musician and singer, the self-production of her 2023 debut album led to an exploration of live looping, synthesis and layered recording techniques. From there, her work shifted, incorporating synths, samplers and field recordings to create a more fluid sonic language that moves between experimental sound design and rhythm-led electronic forms.
Formally trained in music production, audio engineering and field recording, she is currently focusing new experimental musical pieces for integration within her visual art practice, alongside development of forthcoming electronic releases as Vesperella.
