Music in Media


The Guild of Music Supervisors Music in Media event takes place in Los Angeles on Saturday 16th August.

Music From Ireland will support a number of Irish delegates to attend the event, covering up to €800 per person towards travel, and a further €300 towards 3 nights’ accommodation with funding from Culture Ireland. Music From Ireland will also purchase the selected delegate's pass for the event with funding from Culture Ireland.

Applications were open to: Music Publishers, Music Supervisors, Sync Companies / Synch Division Label reps, Self-releasing Artists (or their Manger rep) with significant repertoire & Composers agents.


Applications were assessed by members of the Guild, who selected the Irish professionals they thought would benefit most from the event.

Eoin Aherne

Eoin Aherne is the Creative and Sync Manager at Evolving Music Publishing home to an acclaimed roster that includes global superstar Hozier, GRAMMY winners Rodrigo y Gabriela, rising contemporary folk trio Amble, and neo-classical pianist and composer Jamie Duffy.  In collaboration with Evolving’s global partner, Sony Music Publishing, Eoin leads sync strategy and placements across film, television, advertising, and gaming.  He brings over 15 years of experience in the music industry, having previously held roles in label and artist management.

Sally O'Connor

Sally O'Connor is an independent music supervisor, recently back in Ireland after a couple creatively-charged years in Toronto. Her work spans film and TV projects like Sacramento, Christy, King Frankie, Upload S3, I, Jack Wright, On Becoming a Guinea Fowl & Redemption of a Rogue. She previously ran the Irish office of West One Music Group and kicked off her career on the KPM production team, where she fell headfirst into the world of music sync. Sally studied music at Trinity College Dublin, where she majored in composition.

Maya Cullen Petrovic

Maya Cullen Petrovic is an artist manager and co-owner of Jawdropper Music, an Irish management and PR company with clients in Ireland, the UK and Germany. She lectures part time in BIMM Dublin in Music Business, and has been a Keychange Innovator in 2023.

Sinead Jenkins

Sinead has worked across numerous film and television music supervision projects. This includes Ten Pound Poms S1&S2, Sexy Beast, The Miracle Club, Derry Girls S3, I Hate Suzie Too Wreck S1&2.

She was also a finalist in the 2023 Music + Sound Awards for Best Sync in a Television Programme for Ten Pound Poms.  
Prior to this, Sinead worked within ITV’s music department, focussing on music copyright and clearances for non-scripted shows.

Sinead is heading up Carbon Logic’s Irish office Loighic Charbóin, which launched in July 2024. She is now working on multiple Irish feature films.

Salamay - Gbolahan Olaitan Salami

Known to inspire and connect with audiences through his performances, Salamay translates everyday life into an audible format. Nigerian born, Ireland raised, his genre-spanning hip hop presents meaningful records that are inspired by Fela Kuti, Kendrick Lamar & more. Salamay remains intent on building an authentic fanbase.

Tadhg Kinsella

Tadhg Kinsella is a queer, classically trained percussionist and composer blending acoustic performance with experimental electronics. A participant in the Contemporary Music Centre Ireland’s Emerging Composer Scheme (2024–26), they specialise in modular synthesis, sound design and haptic tech. Their work spans contemporary classical, sound art and immersive installation, and has been supported by Arts Council of Ireland, Culture Ireland and Swedish Arts Council. Recent work has shown in Berlin, Bristol and Stockholm. Founder of Dublin Modular, Tadhg promotes Irish artists through events in alternative spaces, actively engaging in Ireland’s contemporary, electronic and queer arts scenes.
